Serves as Director of the Oklahoma Climatological Survey (OCS), the operational home of the Oklahoma Mesonet. Kevin serves as the Co-Chair of the Mesonet Steering Committee. Kevin holds a B.S. degree in meterology from the University of Texas and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in meteorology from Penn State University.
Responsible for directing the daily operations of the Oklahoma Mesonet. Chris oversees instrument development and calibration, instrument and site maintenance, the Mesonet's quality assurance system, outreach to Mesonet users, and the Mesonet's visualization software and websites. Chris holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
Overseas a team that manages Oklahoma Mesonet data collection, data quality, customer support, and software development. Cindy holds a B.S. degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
Serves as the program manager for OK-First. In this capacity James serves as a lead instructor at all OK-First classes, develops training content, provides input and direction for software and tool development, and manages the program budget. James has B.S. and M.S. degrees in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
Serves as instructor at many OK-First classes. Develops laboratory exercises and case studies for use at OK-First classes. Andrea has a B.S. degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
Handles logistics for all OK-First classes. Locates appropriate venues, updates class announcements, handles class registrations and prepares printed materials for classes. During classes, they support instructors and participants as roving instructors. Our students are the first people you should contact for any questions about OK-First.
Manages servers and other necessary hardware and systems to collect, process, and disseminate Oklahoma Mesonet data.
