The Day 2 Severe Wind Outlook is issued as part of the Day 2 Severe Weather Outlook, issued by the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center twice daily in the early morning and afternoon. This map displays the expected probability of severe wind gusts (at least 58 mph) within 25 miles of a point.
A hatched area, with black diagonal lines, indicates at least a 10% probability of wind gusts greater than 74 mph within 25 miles of a point.
These probabilities contribute to the categorical Day 2 Severe Weather Outlook in accordance with the Probabilistic to Categorical Outlook Conversion Table.
