Competitions 

 Science Olympiad competitions are like academic track meets, consisting of a series of 23 team events in each division (Division B is middle school; Division C is high school).

  • Science Olympiad (Meteorology B) - In this event, participants will use scientific process skills involving qualitative and quantitative analyses to demonstrate an understanding of the factors that contribute, cause and influence Severe Weather and Storms. Event sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
  • Science Olympiad (Dynamic Planet B) - In this event, participants will demonstrate an understanding of the large-scale processes affecting the structure of Earth’s crust. Event sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE).

  • Geoscience Career Pathways - GROW is a collection of career resources for undergraduate and graduate students in the geosciences, intended to help students identify and pursue career paths beyond academia.
